You know... It is summer time... which means it is theme park time!!!
One of my all time favorite things to do is go to theme parks, and I am so looking forward to this theme park season! I am beyond excited to be going to Cedar Point to ride Top Thrill Dragster! Oh and I get to drag Racheal and my partner Matt up there! Which will be the first time there for BOTH of them! I am so excited! Also I really want to get out to Silver Dollar City to ride Outlaw Run!!!
What do you all think about theme parks?! What is your favorite park, and/or your favorite roller coaster?! ~Matt

I live about 3 hours from cedar pointe so it's the theme park I've always gone too. Oddly though I hate free falling so needless to say rollar coasters scare me. I do force myself to ride some of them. My favorite one is the raptor. The worst one for me is the Mantis. (I think) You stand up on the ride and there's a little seat incase you can't stand up. Well as I've gotten bigger, rides are harder for me to fit on. Apparently, if your fat you can't have fun?? So I pull the restraint over my head but the little belt won't clip. So I'm trying to flag the "teenage professional attendant" over for assistance. He almost started to ride until I started screaming like a 12 yr old girl. He comes over and is just beating the hell out of the seatbelt thing, trying to make it lock in place. I told him "never mind, I'll just exit the ride." Cause at this point I'm about to throw up. I'm afraid and embarrassed and holding up the ride. Of course it clicks in place and he stands aside and another person starts the ride before I can repeat "let me off". The whole time I was positive I was going to die. Last time to cedar pointe UNTIL i lose a little weight. Then I'll go again

Interesting expereince on Mantis. I know if you try rows 3 and 6 they have "extended" seat belts on two of the seats to help with the issue of the belt not reaching the buckle! However, if it clicked you were safe! No need to fear! Even though I can see where your fear would come from! (I use to work at Cedar Point!) I think we need to make it a point for all 3 of us to meet up at Cedar Point some time! lol ~Matt

Raptor = Rough! It has way more vibration, and rough spots than it should considering it is a B&M coaster! (B&M are known for making coasters that are smooth as glass!) Having been on over 600 different theme park attractions... I STILL have a fear of free falling! ~Matt

Damn... 600 is... well, a considerably larger number of rides than I've been on. Even though I more than anything would (if I could) live within an amusement park I've only been to three :/ Liseberg, Gröna lund and bonbon land. Amazing parks but they're not as fun to go to when you've been on everything there.

Amazing parks but they're not as fun to go to when you've been on everything there. I have been on over 627 roller coasters... that does not include all the flat rides (aka) thrill rides. I have "lived" in an amusement park. My first job I worked for Disney, and lived in Disney housing, on Disney property... So I guess you can say I lived in a theme park. lol Seriously you have been to theme parks I have only DREAMED of visiting... I am so jealous. ~Matt
