I'm living in Florida at the present time, but spent many years in NY (graduate of SU) and some very young years in Maine. I think my heart is still there. I love the east coast of the US, but recently visited the northwest (Vancouver, CA and then on to Alaska) and discovered a whole new world. I really loved Vancouver. I've been to Seattle, but the circumstances were not conducive to my being able to enjoy the time there. I do love California, at least where I've been (southern California). I'd live in Santa Monica if that were possible.
Florida is a pretty horrible state, politically speaking and some days I wonder why we stay. I keep thinking we are here to help fight for good changes.
What a wonderfully diverse group we are! So pleased to be here and looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Oh, and monster08, your English is just fine!

I was born and raised in Iowa. Spent a few years in the Europe but have now settled down in Southern California with my partner. We live between San Diego and Los Angeles. My partner owns a law firm in LA and helps his family run a flower shop in SD. Needless to say, we are on the road alot!
