The Energy Policy Administration Committee (NPEC) acknowledged the plan to push Thailand to be a center for buying and selling LNG in the ASEAN region (Regional LNG Hub) presented by PTT. It aims to start testing the service in the first quarter of 2020 and have full commercial operations by the end of 2020. It is revealed that it will help create economic value of 165 billion baht in 10 years and create employment for 16,000 people per year.
