So, I've been following story about the United Methodist pastor, Frank Schaefer, who was defrocked because he performed his own son's wedding to the man he loved.
Recently, however, the UMC powers-that-be explained that, though Schaefer should be punished for his act of defiance, the punishment should be a 30-day suspension, not a total defrocking, so they reinstated him and gave him time served, and now the unrepentant pastor is back.
And guess what?
He's NOT sorry and he WILL (more-than-likely) do it again!
Good for him!

reminds me how this country is moving slowly-but-surely in the right (or should I say the LEFT?) direction, where LGBT rights are concerned.
It was such an inspiring, hopeful story, it made me want to sing. Sing what? you may ask. Well, sing THIS...
