^ I hated Cabin In The Woods. I just couldn't get into it. However I have recently watched the new Godzilla and I loved it. I went in expecting the worst. But we were both pleasantly surprised. I highly suggest it!!! Also... Ride Along was no where her a good movie. Not on my top 100 list at all. ~Matt I can totally understand the people who didn't like Cabin in the Woods, but a lot of the criticism was about it being cliché, which was pretty much the point of the movie. I think part of why I liked it so much was that I break down movies and analyze them as I watch them. It's a fun movie to pick apart. I ended up watching Fright Night last night - didn't finish until 3:30 or so, but I enjoyed it. Again, not a flawless movie, but for a modern vampire movie it was good. It used awareness that most movies don't, allowing the characters to make fun of themselves a bit instead of taking everything too seriously. I haven't seen the original, so I don't know how much was taken from it (from the sounds of it, not much). As far as a horror movie, it had some elements, but probably tame for today. It did get me thinking a lot after the movie, so I count that as good. Godzilla is on my list, but X-Men is first lol.

ok I have a confession to make. (blushes) I'm a gay comedy and romance junkie. Any movie like that I watch. I love the sweet ending ones the best. I've seen some real tear jerkers and I prefer to stay away from them. Life sucks enough without more depression being added, even if it is just from a film. I have a Roku 3 and so many sites out there want you to watch their movies to get the word out about them so I scour the net looking for stuff. As long as there are English subtitles, I'll watch any film. Some of the foreign films tend to have more in-depth plot and meaning to them. So new stuff being released from Hollywood I rarely go see until it hits Netflix. I just don't get out much where I live. More on that later.

ok I'll try not to yack too much on here. But I wanted to throw out one movie. It's a Polish gay film called "Suicide Room". Just like the title indicates, is it's theme. If you are prone to cry easily, just be prepared. *sigh.....Here is the lead actor for in it.

I really want to see the new Godzilla! ~Matt being a dedicated breaking bad addict am a big fan of brian cranston, but he was absolutely wasted in godzilla-that must be one of the quickest exits for a high profile actor like that. how come no one has mentioned the UK film; pride? no one else get to see it? went to see it when it 'came out' [ ] and it was simply awesome. went the week after to see the riot club, and that one really sucked although it featured the main male actor from pride so he had been busy. then somewhere around the same period had gone to see lucy and gone girl-thought they were both very good though the ending of lucy was incredibly cheesy.

^ I will hopefully see Pride soon. I want to see it a lot.
I watched Itty Bitty Titty Committee. It has a trans guy, which made me happy. Despite some flaws, it's a pretty good movie, especially for a lesbian focused LGBT movie. Not that there aren't great ones.

I just went and seen American Sniper!! What a fantastic movie, I can't say one bad thing about it. It was so powerful and truly shows not only the War in Iraq but the war at home. Chris Kyle was a fantastic human being, a true legend and an American Hero! RIP and thank you for your service and may this movie and your book forever honor your memory!
Much love, Rae**
