Hello Everyone,
Just joined this forum and am very excited to hopefully get some great advice and maybe make a new friend or two :-)
I'm new to the forum world so i'm not sure if I should just jump right in with my problems i'm having trouble with or I think I will just leave this post as a "Hello"
and introduction.
I am from beautiful Vancouver BC, just turned 40 (Yikes!!! lol) a couple months ago, I have to kids (both boys, ages 17 and 7), I have been in straight relationships up until 10 months ago when I had my first experience with a woman that turned into a relationship ( more questions and advice needed on this. That post will be soon). I work for a homeless shelter and women's transition house and love what I do.
I think i'll leave my intro at that and work on writing my next post so I can try and clear away some of my overwhelming and confusing thoughts and questions that I have burning inside of me. I have turned to a forum community as I feel I have no one in my life to currently talk to. My girlfriend is great but sometimes a girl just needs a friend to emotional dump on.

It is awesome that you work for a homeless shelter and a womens's transition house. That is simply amazing!! I understand what it is like to feel like you have no one to talk to! I myself have days like that! However, we are always here for you anytime you need us! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
