I hate when people create drama.... for the sake of creating drama. I understand you may have nothing else to do in life... but dedicating your life to trying to make ME fail, and spread rumors about me is NOT all there is to do in life. Please grow up... and please move on to something new. Thank you.

Today's rant is about "friends". I am tired of my "friends" asking me how I am doing and what's new with me and when I give them updates all I get in return is negative responses. They don't seem to have anything nice to say and it not only gets me down it also makes me angry. I have come to the conclusion that I need to re-evaluate my friendships and only keep people in my life that can be positive and supportive!!

I have to make this rought cut for my final project in my film class, and and I need to have edited some of it for tomorrow, just one tiny problem, my editing software are on it's way from Germany so all I have to work with is this crappy free software that takes forever loading every single clip. So I have for last two hours been able to download 4 out of 30 clips and edited none! The worst part is I need to get at least a C for this or else I might not be able to study law later. Who the f... Needs film editing skills at law school. To be fair I don't exactly need this particular class I need an average of 9.2 (b) to get in and I can't get that if I fail this!

Hi theonlyhaack, don't stress. You will get thru it. I went to Northeastern University with a Major in Criminal Justice. I'm sure film editing is big in Law with all the crime scene photos and videos. Be positive, I hope you get better than a C. Focus!!!

Thank you, But the thing is I'm not going to be a lawyer I just need a bachelor in law so I can go study international human rights or something like that so I can become a diplomat. Beside I normally like film class and I like editing films but this software is so rubbish it's impossible to do anything with it.

Today's rant... Actually almost became its own thread. . . and still may. However. I really want to vent about my visit with my mother last night. Mind you I am 25... Successful... I do not live with my mom... She does not support me, however I still try to do the right thing and go visit her from time to time. Well last night... I went to visit her. Some how we ended up on the topic of Matt and I... After her saying beyond hateful things about Matt... Which really hurt... She was arguing how a "traditional couple" can have children and blah blah blah... I simply said "Well... You know Matt and I can adopt children and raise them just as well... If not better than your 'traditional couples'." She said, and I quote... "Oh no. I swear if you ever adopt children and try to raise them in your ungodly ways I will find you and kill you all. We'll a go out together." I'm still trying to deal with the things she said... and how she said them... I just wanted to vent. And I knew I could here. And this will probably make its way into its own topic at some point. ~Matt OH MY GOD!!! That is HORRIFYING! ESPECIALLY by your mother! Do you feel actually threatened by her? |

Coming from my theatre career. I HAAAATE when people don't know what to do around the theatre when they have been told exactly what to do six billion times! Also, people who spread their stuff everwhere in the dressing rooms and makeup table.

So here's mine... I HATE it when someone turns a corner in their car and you could literally park yours, get out walk around the corner faster than they are driving!
Just sayin'...
You'll usually find me ranting behind them - "My grandmother can beat you around that corner... and she's dead!" -- I know that sounds disrespectful, but you had to know my grandmother - very twisted sense of humor. She'd really laugh at that one.

And this will probably make its way into its own topic at some point. ~Matt Well, I'd go one better and say that the technology exists where you or your hubby (or heck, both) could donate sperm with a donated egg and a surrogate to have a kid that was yours/your hubby's actual flesh and blood. That's what Neil Patrick Harris and his hubby did. Those kids are actually theirs. Bloody brilliant in my book. But hey, that's just me being defiant. I don't mean to make light of your situation. And not to cast a disparaging tone on your mother (because she is after all, your mother good, bad or indifferent) but people like that are often the most selfish people around in that they insist that the world operate in their narrow minded view. Never once realizing or having the humbleness to suspect that their way may NOT be the only way to peace and happiness. Hey, I've taken to calling you both Matt(2) <-- Matt Squared. I too, can't imagine one without the other from everything you've written about you both. And I get it too, my hubby has two doctorates (one in Psychiatry and one in Quantum Mechanics - worked for JPL back in the heady space exploration days) so yeah, I get the whole when the hubby says it's rocket science - he means it.
