*sigh* A very very bad transgender friend was actually a very large reason why I denied it for as long as I have. I latched onto a term I found before, called "gender fluid". Even though I only go towards "not caring" or male (I am biologically female) The friend though, he said I wasn't trans because I refused to come out to very close minded (when it came to trans people) family, and the only time I tried to tentatively do so, my mother laughed about it, and then made fun of me, so I went with it and said I was joking. *sighs*
So, hi, I'm finally starting to accept myself.
My name is Dakota, I'm 23, I currently reside in Wisconsin, I'm starting a job at walmart as soon as the drug test is cleared and I'm engaged to a very beautiful girl from texas.

First off, Welcome to the forums! We are glad you are here, and we are always here to help. Next up: Do not let yourself be defined by labels. I don't see myself as "Gay" even though I am a male, in a successful amazing relationship with another male. I do not let the label of "gay" define who I am as a person. I am Matt, and I love my partner. So pretty much, what I am saying is be yourself. Do not let a label define who you are. Be true to yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Do not try to conform to what the world is trying to make you be. Be yourself, love yourself, and you'll do just fine in life! ~Matt P.S. Congrats on the engagement!

I'm glad I still have a fiancee, I was so scared I'd lose her. I should have known better, but I thought she wouldn't want to deal with everything that would come with this.
