Hello. So I'm not LGBT, but I'm sympathetic to LGBT rights... Or, you know, human rights. I found a crazy video on Youtube the other day that was apposed to those rights and I was astounded to find out just how many people are still living in the stone ages acting like homosexuality is some kind of icky grossness that sticks to people that look at it for too long. I'm mostly interested in talking to people that are on the fence or apposed to LGBT (or any human) rights and it doesn't seem like you have a lot of those so I might wonder off soon.
In the mean time I'm interested in getting to know people and hearing how I might focus discussions. So if you have any tips or ideas let me know and if you want to hear more of my story I will be making a post about that soon. Nice to meet you all!

Hey! Welcome to the forums! I keep a very close I on the forums, and I monitor very closely to ensure that we never have any individuals here who could make it uncomfortable for LGBT individuals. There will never be anyone on here that is apposed to LGBT rights, so you may not find what you are looking for here, but you can still post here, and join us in discussions!  I personally still every single day of my life deal with people who are 100% against the LGBT lifestyle. I get told awful things every day. Things from "I just wish all of you **** **** (Insert demeaning LGBT words here) Would just be put in one place and bombed." Or "I wish there were concentration camps for your type." I would like to say that it doesn't get to me, but that would be a lie. It hurts every time. I am no less of a human than anyone else, so I should never be treated like I am, and I know about 99% of the LGBT Community feels the same way. We are not wanting special treatment, or anything like that. We just want to be treated equally. When will it be okay for us to love who we love?? -- Well that was a bit of a novel, but hopefully it gives you some insight into what day to day life is like for me! ~Matt |

Hello!!
Welcome to the forums! I'm so glad you are here! The LGBT community can never have enough voices in their corner, the more the merrier, It breaks my heart to see members of the LGBT community or people in general get treated like they are nothing by heartless, close minded people on a daily basis and I will do everything I personally can to help change that! There will come a day when it will accepted for people to love who they love and I will be there to see it!
