So I have little experience in the dating world. I am an 18 year old female and I have kissed one boy and made out with two. Both the make outs went horrendously. It just felt so wrong. I have also kissed a girls once as part of a dare thing and I liked it more than my make outs. I'm just not sure if the people I have kissed are just bad kissers or lack chemistry or its all to new and awkward; or if maybe its just not right because I may not play for that team. When I think about being with the girl I am not grossed out. I can picture myself that way. Also when a guy holds me or touches me I usually feel very uncomfortable. Ive only ever crushed on guys before, I have never thought of girls romantically. But if I pictured myself with a girl, I could see it... Im just so uncertain. I know I just need more experience, but I would appreciate some insight on my situation. Thanks.

Well kid, it certainly sounds like you are gay. However there is no need to be in such a rush to label yourself. Just live your life doing what you want to do and time will clear up those foggy details. You have only kissed a handful of people which is enough for some people. Some people don't need to kiss anyone. But if you are not sure yet just take it slow and do things at your own pace. Sexuality is a spectrum and you fall somewhere on it. You have to get to know yourself just like you get to know someone else. I hope this has been helpful  |

I know I was the same way (well kind of) when I was growing up. Whenever I would kiss a girl, it was just ackward, and never felt right. Then when I was just hugged by my first boyfriend, it felt like this was what I was missing in life. You may just be more physically and mentally attracted to girls! Do some real soul searching to make sure you are doing the right thing, but from what you have just told me, and what I know from experience in life, your fight might just be with girls!
