Hi I am a mom to a second grade little girl that since she could voice her mind has always and proudly declared she is gay. A few people we know have told me to not let her say this cause she is too young to know if she's gay or not and I might confuse her being this young. I wanted to know everybody's opinion? Is she too young to know?

I don't think you can be too young, if you understand what it means to be gay. That is my only concern, whenever or not she understand what it means being gay.
She should definitely be allowed to to say she is gay, we don't correct children and say they are too young to know that they are straight, when they get a kindergarten sweetheart of the opposite sex, why should it be any different with queer children.
