Hello, my name is Adam, I'm new here. I live together with my partner very long, we are almost a family. Almost. Because there can be no family without kids. I'm dreaming about kids, but I don't know how to make this dream come true. Maybe there are some people on this forum, who went through the same? Would be glad to hear from you.

You know, I personal have no experience with kids. My partner and I have determined that kids are just not for us, so I am pretty much useless to you in this category. However, I'm sure someone will be able to provide you with some advice! Let me know if there is anything else I could help you with!

I'm really grateful, Matt, that you did not leave my post without your attention. I understand, that not everybody wants to have kids. But I still hope that there are some people who are in the same boat with me. Maybe you know some of them personally?

I'm not exactly going through the same as you, I'm only 18 and for me it's way to early to really be thinking about family and stuff. What I do know is that someday I'm gonna have a kid and that I'm going to adopt because of mutilple reasons. 1st there are so many children is this world who are in need of a home and 2nd is a more personal reason and that's that my mother's side of the family has a history of MS (a chronic decease) and I have seen my mom to through that every single day and I don't want my children to have to go through that.
I hope this was sort of the thing you were looking for

Thank you for your answer, Regitze. I believe, that you will be a great mother someday! Yes, I thought about adoption, but it is very hard for people like us. The preference is usually given to traditional couples, even if adoption for gay couples is not forbidden by law

Really? I didn't know that, I don't think/hope that the agencies are like that here in Denmark, if they however do that I believe you can report them for discrimination or something.

I really can report, but everybody thinks, that it is better for a child to grow up with mother and father. And even I cannot deny it. And if gay couple and traditional couple both want to adopt one child, there's no secret who will be allowed to do it
